Why I made Trickshots
Hey, I’m Alex! I’ve been designing video games for over 15 years, but Trickshots is the first game I’ve made entirely on my own. I’ve always been passionate about creating games, but more than anything, I’m a huge fan of fun.
Growing up, I spent countless hours exploring the worlds of Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie—games that rewarded curiosity and discovery. I wanted to bring that same sense of adventure to Trickshots. There are no menus, no power-ups, no tutorials, and no hand-holding—by design. My goal is for every player to enjoy figuring out not just how to play, but also uncovering the game’s many secrets.
I hope you have as much fun playing Trickshots as I had making it!
